Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-21 Effective: 2026-05-01
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the FlowLibs Terms of Service. It describes what you must not do on or with the FlowLibs service, the FlowLibs site, any patterns you obtain from us, or any outputs generated by our AI tools. If a provision here conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.
1. Don't abuse the Service
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the FlowLibs site or pattern catalog, or attempt to enumerate the pattern database programmatically outside of public APIs we expose.
- Circumvent rate limits, paywalls, or access controls, including sharing Pro or Team credentials, using multiple accounts to bypass free-tier AI quotas, or exploiting bugs to bypass limits you haven't paid for.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Interfere with the Service through denial-of-service attacks, traffic flooding, probing, or exploitation of security vulnerabilities. If you find a vulnerability, report it privately to hello@flowlibs.com — we appreciate responsible disclosure.
- Impersonate another person, account, or FlowLibs itself, including by spoofing email headers or registering confusingly similar domains.
- Train machine-learning models on FlowLibs content, patterns, or AI outputs without our prior written permission.
2. Don't redistribute the catalog or the AI
FlowLibs patterns are licensed to you for use in your own and your employer's automation work (see Terms §3). The AI Script Generator and AI Code Review are provided for interactive use by logged-in users. You agree not to:
- Republish the FlowLibs catalog — or a substantial portion of it — as your own pattern site, course, eBook, or paid product.
- Resell, sublicense, or rebrand access to the AI Script Generator or AI Code Review (including via a wrapper, proxy, or "as-a-service" offering).
- Remove or obscure attribution, license, or provenance comments embedded in patterns or AI outputs.
- Claim authorship of FlowLibs patterns.
Publishing your own automations that happen to use a FlowLibs pattern or AI-generated script as a building block is fine and expected — that's the point.
3. Don't use patterns, outputs, or the Service to harm others
You agree not to use the Service, any pattern, or any AI output to:
- Build automations that send spam, phishing, scams, or fraudulent messages.
- Scrape or harvest personal data in violation of the target site's terms, robots.txt, or applicable privacy law.
- Circumvent security measures, authentication, or licensing controls on systems you don't own or have explicit permission to access.
- Generate or distribute malware, ransomware, or credential-stealers.
- Infringe intellectual property or trade-secret rights.
- Harass, defame, threaten, or target individuals or groups.
- Violate applicable laws or sanctions.
4. Don't submit harmful content to the AI tools
When you submit inputs to the Script Generator, Code Review, or Pattern Customizer, you agree not to submit:
- Secrets, credentials, API keys, tokens, or production connection strings. (If you paste one in by accident, rotate it immediately — these may be processed by AI providers per our Privacy Policy.)
- Personal data about other people that you're not authorized to share.
- Content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Prompts deliberately crafted to bypass the model provider's safety guardrails or to elicit harmful outputs.
5. Consequences
If we believe in good faith that you have violated this AUP, we may (in our discretion and depending on severity):
- Warn you and ask you to stop.
- Rate-limit, suspend, or terminate your account.
- Refuse or reverse Pro/Team subscription without refund (subject to consumer-protection law).
- Report the activity to law enforcement or affected third parties.
We do not owe you notice before taking action against serious abuse (e.g., DoS, credential sharing, fraud, prompt-injection attacks).
6. Reporting abuse
If you see something that looks like a violation of this AUP — by another user or by the Service itself — email hello@flowlibs.com with details. We review reports and take action where warranted.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this AUP as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date, and active users will be notified by email or in-app notice.
